Mt. Olive to host live Nativity

Mary, Joseph, the Baby Jesus, angels, shepherds and wise men will reenact the Christmas story in three scenes at a live Nativity sponsored by Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

The event will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 14-15, at the church, located on the north site of U.S. Hwy. 80 eight miles east of Demopolis.

The Nativity is divided into the three scenes of, the wise men, the stable and the shepherds and angels. Visitors are encouraged to bundle up, park their cars and visit each of the tableaus before enjoying refreshments.

Live music will be part of the event, featuring musicians from other communities in the area.
