Demopolis got back at it in the bottom of the fifth. Hudson Holley hit a leadoff single ahead of a Peyton Geary walk. Patterson then reached on an error to load the bases. Two batters later, Overmyer drove in courtesy runner Wesley Allgood with a groundball. A Petrey bases-loaded walk to Petrey forced in Jake Malone before Casper stroked a double to center to score Patterson and Overmyer for the 8-1 lead.
