UWA men’s tennis shuts out Stillman, 9-0

rp_primary_MTenn_vs_StillmanLIVINGSTON – Following a three-hour delay to allow the courts at the Vaughn Tennis Complex to dry, the University of West Alabama men’s tennis team shut out Stillman College, 9-0, on a foggy Tuesday.

West Alabama improved its record to 6-1 with its fifth shutout of the early 2014 tennis season. Stillman College dropped to 5-4.

“Coach (Will) Riley has done a great job putting together a good Stillman squad,” UWA head coach Glen Fanelli said. “We played well. We were ready to play and I am proud of our effort and patience.”

West Alabama swept the doubles matches without much opposition before putting the match away with wins in No. 1 through No. 3 singles.
