Petrey homers in MA win over Patrician

Marengo Academy (13-5, 2-0) picked up an area win Tuesday with a 9-3 victory over Patrician Academy.

The Lady Longhorns got seven strikeouts over seven innings from Andrea Edmonds in the complete game effort.

Chandler Stenz went 3-for-5 with one RBI and two runs scored. Anna Michael Crocker finished 3-for-4 with a triple, a walk, a run and a RBI.

Brooke Smyly went 2-for-3 with a triple, a walk, a run and two RBIs. Andrea Edmonds went 1-for-5. Conner Etheridge was 3-for-5 with a pair of runs scored.

Kimberly Moore was 1-for-4 with a run scored. Ryan Hale scored a run. Macey Petrey finished 2-for-4 with a homer, a double, a run scored and two RBIs.
