Local students ready to take on Alabama A&M
The Blackbelt Alumni Chapter of Alabama A&M University, recently sponsored a Meet and Greet for students attending AAMU this Fall. The students, along with their parents, received information regarding financial aid, campus life and being away from home. Members of the Blackbelt Chapter, Anner Gray, Doris Henderson, Allen Turner, Greg Abernathy, Josephine Smith, Dorothy Russell, Polly Raymond, Rayvell Smith, Peter and Angenell Jones, welcomed the students and their parents. The students in attendance were, Jayquan Wallace, Aireka Riggs, Dezmarie Jones, Amari Brassfield, Ashley Moore, Kylie Johnson, Taylor Pace, Jamal Thurmond and James Jones.
