Linden grounds ALJ Eagles

THOMASTON — Linden (10-3) picked up a second win over area foe A.L. Johnson in a four-day span Tuesday, downing the Eagles 73-60.

Playing without leading scorer Imoras Agee, the Patriots got 20 points out of Kynard Craig to spearhead the effort. Nicholas Rogers finished with 16 points while Jamon Evans had 14.

Jeremy Mitchell led A.L. Johnson with 25 points while Charles Edwards finished with 15.

Both teams stay in area competition for their next contest as Linden travels to John Essex Friday and A.L. Johnson hits the road to face Akron Thursday.
