Lady Longhorns trample Sumter

YORK — Marengo Academy (18-0) dispatched Sumter Academy with ease Tuesday as it went on the road for a decisive 68-18 area victory.

The Lady Longhorns got 20 points from Brooke Smyly to lead the effort while Anna Michael Crocker chipped in 17. Conner Etheridge and Chandler Stenz each scored 10 in the win.

Victoria Belcher had seven points for the MA ladies while Kim Osburn scored four. The Lady Longhorns are scheduled to play again Monday at Pickens Academy.
