Funeral arrangements set for Ann Ross Dodd

Ann Ross Dodd was born in Grubbs, AR to John and Georgia Kagen Ross on Dec. 12, 1932. She and her family moved after her birth to Wyandotte, MI where she was raised and later met and married husband of 56 years, Charles Dodd. She passed away peacefully at her home in Gallion surrounded by her family on Monday, Nov. 25, 2019.

She was a homemaker and loved spending time with family and friends, golfing with her late husband and shopping, shopping, shopping. She was a member of Linden Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend to many. She also loved spending time and getting lots of hugs and kisses from her great-grandson, Cayden.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Dodd; her parents, brother, John Ross, Jr. of Wyandotte, MI; and son, Edward Jackson of Monroe, MI.

She is survived by three daughters, Melissa (Kenny) Walker of Dothan, Sandy (Mark) Henson of Linden and Tina (Robert) Glass of Gallion; granddaughters Brittany (Justin) Phillips of Gallion and Lindsay Walker of Dothan; grandsons Tyler (Aryn) Henson of Linden and Brooks Glass of Gallion, and one great-grandson, Cayden Phillips of Gallion,.

Visitation will be held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Friday, Nov. 29, 2019 from 3 p.m. until the 4 p.m. graveside funeral service at Linden Memorial Park with Rev. Paul Guy officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Southern Care Hospice, Woodhaven Manor Nursing Home, Bryan Whitfield Home Health and Simmons Clinic.
