The Demopolis boys basketball team got back into action Tuesday night by hosting the Central-Tuscaloosa Falcons. Unfortunately for the Tigers, the Falcons came out of the holiday break with a little more pep than the Tigers. After a close first quarter that saw the Tigers down by one at 11-10, the Falcons pulled away. The Tigers outscored the Falcons in the fourth quarter, 20-19, but the second and third quarters led to the Tigers’ downfall. In the end, the Tigers walked away with a 58-47 loss.

Josh Mason led the Tigers with 16 points, with Bryan Bennett the only other Tiger in double digits, with 10. Payton Stevenson dropped in seven and Dalyn Jackson added five. Dre Brown tallied four points, Decorrius Hicks hit a single 3-pointer and Jay Jones added two.

Bennet led the way with six rebounds and Stevenson followed with four rebounds. Mason, Brown, KoDarrious Vawters and Jones added three rebounds each. Hicks and Jaqualon Smith were credited with one rebound each.
