DCS offering free WiFi connections at campuses

To help families and children with completing school assignments while the schools are closed, all Demopolis City Schools and the Board of Education will provide free WiFi service at each campus.

Supt. Kyle Kallhoff said WiFi users will be required to remain in their vehicle, in the parking lot, and remain at least six feet from the next vehicle, to comply with Gov. Kay Ivey’s Emergency Proclamation April 3.

Only those residing with the user are allowed to be in the car. Do not attend on foot, bicycles, or motorcycles, Kallhoff continued.

“We ask that you are considerate of school system property and do not litter while taking advantage of this free service,” he said.

The free WiFi at each campus will be located under the GUEST Network and will be available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. This service is provided in partnership with the City of Demopolis and the Demopolis Police Department.
