All public schools closed in Marengo County Tuesday

Demopolis City Schools, Marengo County Schools and Linden City Schools will be closed Tuesday due to weather.

“The weather is a good five to seven hours ahead of schedule,” Demopolis City Schools Superintendent Dr. Al Griffin said. “We will make a decision later today about (Wednesday).”

The school systems had originally been scheduled to close at noon Tuesday.
