AlabamaONE realigns members before purchase of FBOL

TUSCALOOSA, Al. – AlabamaONE Credit Union, which recently announced its intent to purchase the First Bank of Linden, is re-aligning its key Member Service/Business Development areas and internal TEAM Member Development/Oversight areas to prepare for its continued expansion.

Recently the company integrated the Alabama Rural Electric Credit Union into its operations. It is expected to finalize the purchase of FBOL this spring.

Martin Houston, who joined AlabamaOne in 2016 to set up and lead the Credit Union’s newly formed insurance agency, has been named Senior Director of Membership Growth. He will continue to direct all insurance activities as the company expands its operations with the purchase of FBOL; all financial wellness seminars, training and conferences and provide guidance for all external business development.

Also on the Leadership TEAM is Audrey O’Neal, Chief People Officer, who will lead Human Resources as well as oversee TEAM’s internal development and TEAM engagement.

Jacquie Johnson will lead all outreach efforts and report to Houston. She, along wither TEAM members Cecilia Waits and Tanya Winstead, will report to Houston.

Brittany Floyd, Senior Director of Business Development, will oversee activities in the 23 Alabama Rural Electric Cooperatives. Her Business Development Team will report to Houston.
