WRH creates waiting list for vaccine distribution

The Alabama Dept. of Public Health announced on Jan. 8 people 75 years of age or older can register to receive the COVID-19 vaccine beginning Jan. 18. In response, Whitfield Regional Hospital has created a waiting list for those who would like to receive the vaccine.

Community members 75 years of age or older interested in receiving the vaccination may call WRH at 334-287-2573 for an appointment date and time.

Qualified individuals must be 75 years of age or older and 90 days since a COVID-19 diagnosis.
