Windham Motor looking to raise $10,000 for schools Saturday

There’s a quick and easy way to help Demopolis City Schools this Saturday. Windham Motor Company is holding the Buick Drive for Your Students event at Demopolis High from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is looking to raise $10,000 for Demopolis schools.

“It’s called the Buick Drive For Your Students Program. For every test drive, Buick will donate $20 to the Demopolis City Schools. Maximum donation is $10,000,” Tyler Windham said. “So we need 500 people to come out and make a test drive this Saturday.”

Buick will donate $20 per test drive to Demopolis City Schools for up to 500 test drives, giving Windham Motor Company and the citizens of the City of the People an excellent chance to benefit education in the simplest of ways.

“This event is going to be quick and easy. We’re not there to try to sell you anything. This is all to benefit the school,” Windham said. “We’ll do a quick registration. We’re going to put you in a Buick and take a test drive around the high school. It’ll probably take 10 minutes tops. It’s going to be quick and easy. Pretty painless. This is a national program from Buick that we learned about. This is our first participation in it, but this is a nationwide thing that Buick does to give back to the local schools.”
