Wilcox County crash claims life

A single-vehicle crash Saturday, March 22, claimed the life of a Vredenburgh man. Travis Walker, 43, was killed when the 1997 Chevy Malibu he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. The crash occurred at 8:10 p.m. on Wilcox County 6 in Vredenburgh. Seat belts were not in use at the time of the crash. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
