UWA Online accepting Teacher Connect scholarship apps

LIVINGSTON — As part of UWA Online’s “Teacher Connect” partnerships, teachers in the Demopolis City, Marengo County, and Hale County school systems are eligible to apply for a Teacher Connect scholarship. The deadline for applying for a Teacher Connect Scholarship is July 24.

Teachers in those school systems who would like to apply for the scholarship for a graduate level education program should contact their school’s Teacher Connect coordinator or a UWA online recruiter at uwaonline@uwa.edu<http://www.uwaonline@uwa.edu/>.

UWA Online will accept applications to enroll for the first fall online term through July 31.

The UWA Teacher Connect program is designed especially for participating systems to offer teachers a discount of $200 per credit hour for online studies. Teachers can choose from UWA’s 38 master’s and education specialist degrees. With accelerated online terms, teachers can easily earn their advanced degrees in two years.

Since the recent launch of UWA Teacher Connect, Marengo County Schools, Hale County Schools, and Demopolis City Schools have signed agreements with UWA to provide exclusive opportunities for their teachers.
