UWA men’s golf finish 3rd in Day One of All-State/Frito-Lay Intercollegiate

PHILADELPHIA, Miss. – The West Alabama’s Trevor Page shot three-over par 75 to lead men’s golf to third place after the first round of the 2014 All-State Frito-Lay Intercollegiate on Sunday at the Dancing Rabbit Golf Club.

West Alabama overall carded 19-over 307. Missouri-St. Louis led the 15 team field with 5-over 293 followed by Tennessee-Martin with eight-over 296.

Page finished tied for 12th place overall, followed by Will Walker and Lee Lann tied for 21st. Both finished round one with five-over 77. Wesley Etheredge and Harris Stevens each shot six-over 78, tied for 28th.

The intercollegiate tournament will conclude tomorrow with round two at the Dancing Rabbit Golf Club.
