USJ May Leaders joined by honorary Principal

The May Leaders of the Month at U.S. Jones Elementary School are pictured with the honorary Principal for the Day on Friday, May 7.

Fifth-grader Tyson Bucurel won the honorary position when the Bucurel family had the highest bid in the Demopolis City School Foundation online auction for the “USJ Principal for the Day.” 

Chosen from each class, the Leaders of the Month display the qualities of a leader both in and out of the classroom.

Third grade: Allie Cooper, Landon James, Blair McAdams, Mariah Jones, Desiree Pruitt, Ayden Siepert, Ashton Faile, Stella McGhee, Waylon Gilbert, Taliyah Brock, Annagail Day, Miracle Oates and Bucurel.

Fourth grade: Braylon Fitts, Maryah Wheeler, Santiago Guerrero, Jameria Harris, Kendarrius Johnson, Mikael Johnson, JaKaiyah Fluker, O’Asia Vaughn, Madison Oates, Ja’Nyra Wallace, Majesty Matthews, Haston Royster, Cailyn Bryant, Quinn Hall and Bucurel.
