Undefeated 10U All-Stars headed to state tourney

Demopolis 10U All-Stars remain undefeated and will go to state tournament in Florence on June 24. 

During sub-district play on June 3-4, Demopolis beat Gilbertown 17-7, Butler 25-1 and Sweet Water 29-0. At the district tournament June 11, Demopolis defeated Monroeville 11-1 and Thomasville 21-8.

Demopolis 10 and under All-Stars are undefeated going into the state tournament.

Demopolis and Thomasville met again in Sweetwater this past Monday for the championship game. Demopolis came from behind to win 12-9. 

Coaches are Jim McAlpine, Cole Basinger, Seth Allgood and Kenley Harrison. Players are Edward Darsey, Brock Randall, Gaddy Rice, Bryce Meadows, Ed Stephens, Thomas Jones, Rhett Windham, Davis Allgood, Brady Windham , Wyatt McAlpine, Briar Chambless, Crawford Hall, Eli Basinger and Easton Harrison.
