TRAC hosting ASFA concert Nov. 6

Join the Two Rivers Arts Council on Thursday, Nov. 6 as they present a concert by the Alabama School of Fine Arts at 6:30 p.m. at the Demopolis High School Auditorium.

Students from the Alabama School of Fine Arts are musically shaking things up with a pops concert which will feature music by The Beatles, The Eagles, Led Zeppelin, music from the Motown era, as well as classical music. The performance will showcase the versatility of the orchestra and jazz ensemble. This concert is guaranteed to be a unique and inspiring experience for all ages.

A public school with the entire state as its district, Alabama School of Fine Arts (ASFA) admits students through application and audition, providing tuition-free instruction in six specialty areas: creative writing, dance, math & science, music, theatre, visual arts, plus a full college preparatory curriculum. Located in the heart of Birmingham’s downtown Cultural District, ASFA provides a dormitory for students living beyond commuting distance to cam-pus.
