Toddler killed in Sumter County crash

TUSCALOOSA POST – A single-vehicle crash shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday, July 28, claimed the life of a 2-year-old. The child was killed when he was struck by a 2009 Chevrolet Lumina. The driver of the Lumina was not injured. The crash occurred on Sumter County 2 approximately five miles west of York. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
