Tigers’ 2020 season stats leaders – game 4

The Demopolis Tigers upped their season total for points to 129 after posting 41 against region foe Sipsey Valley. They also held the Bears to 8 points, bring the Tigers’ points allowed total to 58. With those factored in, the Tigers are averaging scoring 32.25 points per game, while giving up 14.5 per game.

Tyler Drake has connected on 44 of 75 passes for 719 yards and 8 touchdowns. Drake has thrown a single interception.

Kelvin Rowser holds onto the rushing lead with 147 yards on 25 carries and has scored 3 touchdowns. After a 58 yard outing against the Bears, Hayes Atkins moves into the second slot with 107 yards on 17 carries and has 2 touchdowns. Craig Nichols got back into the mix, after missing the Central game due to injury and ran his season total to 93 yards on 35 carries, and also added 2 touchdowns for a total of 3 on the year. Lamarion Kelly ran his season total to 91 yards on 15 carries. The Tigers have 9 total rushing touchdowns.

Camron Wright hangs onto the receiving lead with 295 yards on 14 catches, and has 4 touchdowns. Peyton Stevenson is the only other receiver with 100+ yards, with 8 catches for 189 yards. He also leads the receivers with 4 touchdown catches. Price Smith has one touchdown catch on the year while Will Cork and Jaqualon Smith are now on the board with touchdown catches. The Tigers have 9 total receiving touchdowns.

Drake holds down the total yards category with 758 yards by adding 39 rushing yards to his passing yardage. Camron Wright is second with his 295 receiving yards. Stevenson’s 68 rushing yards put him in the third slot with 285 total yards. And Kelvin Rowser claims the fourth spot by adding 63 receiving yards for a total of 210 yards.

On the defensive side, Grey Sharpe has 21 solo and 11 assists for a total of 32 tackles. Matthew Witherspoon has 17 total tackles (13 solo, 4 assists) and Mac Logan has 16 total tackles (11 solo, 5 assists). Harrison Carroll (12 solo, 2 assists), Javien Blanks (11 solo, 3 assists), Dexter Boston (9 solo, 5 assists) and Donald Means, Jr. (7 solo, 7 assists) have accounted for 14 tackles each. Laquinton Wright has 12 total tackles on 9 solos and 3 assists. Jim Lawler (8 solo, 2 assists) and Brody Osburn (9 solo and 1 assist) have 10 tackles each.
