Sweet Water was in a 6-6 tie for all of 83 seconds Friday night before putting McIntosh squarely in its rearview in a 61-20 romp.

After Jacory Brown put the Bulldogs up 6-0 on a 31-yard run just three minutes into the game, McIntosh popped a 62-yard pass to even the score. Brown punched it in from four yards out just 83 seconds later and then added his own two-point conversion run to make it 14-6.

Sweet Water added two more touchdowns before halftime as Braiden Broussard hit Trace Luker for a 19-yard strike before Kaleb Greene punched it in from eight yards away. Chastian Washington had the conversion run for the 26-6 lead at half.

McIntosh notched a score and a conversion to cut the deficit to 12 before Sweet Water found another gear. Broussard scored on a four-yard run and Washington changed the scoreboard on a 28-yard sprint. Brown rushed in from 15 and 20 yards away, leaving Sweet Water up 54-14.

One more McIntosh touchdown drew the game briefly closer before Walker Thompson hit Lashon Young for a 10-yard scored and the 61-20 final.

The Bulldogs amassed 344 of their 391 total yards on the ground, highlighted by Brown’s 190 yards on 21 carries. In addition to his four touchdowns, Brown made PAT kicks.
