Sweet Water rolls over Choctaw County for shutout win

Sweet Water blasted Choctaw County with unmitigated fury Friday night, trouncing the Tigers 45-0. The Bulldogs held Choctaw County to -28 yards of total offense on the night despite allowing 16 yards through the air.

Sweet Water jumped on top 11 seconds into the game as Jacory Brown rushed for a 35-yard touchdown. With 8:14 left in the first quarter, Braiden Broussard went over the top to find his older brother Chance on a 14-yard touchdown strike to move the lead to 13-0.

With 11:09 left in the second, Brown scored on a rush from six yards out. Xavier Lucy later added a touchdown run from the 4 to move the lead to 27-0. Kaleb Green then intercepted a pass and returned it for a touchdown before Chastian Washington scored on a 2-yard sprint to set the halftime lead at 39-0. Jaylin Dixon found the end zone on a 5-yard run in the third to cap the scoring.

Sweet Water (2-3, 1-1) returns to Class 1A, Region 1 play next week when it travels to McIntosh.
