Santa to visit Demopolis Public Library

He’s making a list, checking it twice, and visiting the Demopolis Public Library to see who’s been naughty or nice. Santa Claus is coming to DPL on Monday, Dec. 2 at 5:30 p.m.

Santa Claus will make a stop from 5:30-7 p.m. at Demopolis Public Library. Stop by for a photo with Santa, sit on his lap and discuss your favorite book. All ages are invited and families are encouraged to come. Parents may bring their own cameras for pictures too.

“We had Santa visit last year after Children’s Librarian Kelley Tarpley saw a need in our community,” says Library Director Morgan Allen. “We will take children’s pictures and put them on our website so parents can go download them or print them out if they want to.”

We will serve holiday cookies and have a box for the children to drop their letters to Santa in.

“Tuscaloosa and Meridian are too far for some people to take their children to see Santa,” says Kelley Tarpley. “We are glad he is coming here and can be part of the library experience.”
