Demopolis High School student Megan Masters is spending part of her summer at Auburn University’s TEA program with DHS science teacher Deborah Boykin. They are one of only six student-teacher teams statewide to be selected for the scientific research program. In the photo above, Masters is conducting NMR Spectroscopy. In the lower photo, Masters is combining fractions from protected organic compounds. Masters will present the findings of her experimental research today.
