Demopolis High School principal Dr. Tony Speegle with DHS freshman catcher Abbey Latham, who earned Most Valuable Player honors for her role in last week’s area tournament. The Lady Tigers are set to travel to Troy this week to compete in the South Central Regional tournament. Demopolis is scheduled to have its first game at 8 a.m. Friday against Homewood.
