Pam Koch to speak at Trinity lunch and program event March 29

Trinity Episcopal Church brings back its lunch and program with a special presentation by Pam Koch at noon on Tuesday, March 29, in the Parish Hall.

“For many years, during the church season of Lent, it has been the custom of Trinity to offer a series of lunches and seasonal programs to the community on the five Tuesdays of Lent,” said the Rev. Rusty Goldsmith. “It has saddened us that Covid interrupted this ministry for the past two years, but as the pandemic appears to be on the wane, we are delighted to begin once again.”

The parish is starting slowly with this single event offering “a lovely luncheon, and a fascinating program,” he said.

Koch, wife of Demopolis native Dr. Henry Koch, will combine a display of biblical events portrayed by great artists with an accompanying narrative. She will weave “a unique tapestry that has informed and delighted audiences for many years,” said Goldsmith. “We are fortunate and thrilled to have Pam bring her formative and informative ministry to Demopolis.”

Her exhibit and the explanatory narrative material will remain in the parish hall until Good Friday, April 15. All are welcome to visit Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. until noon.

To be assured a place at the table for lunch, call for reservations at 334-289-3363, or email,  www.trinitydemopolis.org.

“It is our intention and prayer that this event will help you rejoice in the most joyous Easter ever,” said Goldsmith.
