‘Miss Pearl’ to stress need for manners in rescheduled performance

“Miss Pearl” has a mission. She is waging a crusade to bring back manners and common courtesy.

“It’s about reminding some people to be nice,” she says, “and based on my own experiences, we need it more than ever!”

Colleen Sprayberry had planned to bring “Miss Pearl” to Demopolis in April, but a fall and broken arm forced her to reschedule her appearance. She will bring her message in an evening of comedy, wit and wisdom when the Two Rivers Arts Council sponsors her visit Thursday, Oct. 20, at the Marengo County History and Archives Museum.

“Miss Pearl” will begin her program at 7 p.m., but a meet-and-greet will be held before then from 6-7 p.m.

Tickets for the event are $15 at the door.
