Men’s recreational softball tourney at Sports-Plex Aug. 4

The Fourth Annual Shootout men’s recreational softball tournament is set for Saturday, Aug. 4 at the Demopolis Sports-Plex. The tournament carries an entry fee of $275 per team.

First place wins a team award, an MVP award, 15 championship rings and 15 championship T-shirts. Second place takes home a team award and 15 runner-up T-shirts. Third place receives a team award.

The event will also feature DJ Huggie Bear Jr., inflatables, concessions and a homerun derby. The tournament begins at 10 a.m.
