Lois Grey Little Boykin

Lois Grey Little Boykin age 76, exchanged this earth for her heavenly home on December 18, 2016.

Born on July 20, 1940, in Lasca, Alabama, she was preceded in death by her parents, Lola Mae and Jesse Little, and her beloved husband of thirty-one years, Frederic Laird Carpenter Boykin, M.D. She is survived by her sister, Aurelia Nichols of Linden, Alabama, and her brother Jesse Little (Teresa), of Half Acre, Alabama.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Maria Adams and husband Clay of Fairhope, Alabama, John Sekas and wife Erin of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Helen Graham, of Tampa, Florida; six grandchildren Hayes Adams, Grey Adams, Sean Sekas and wife Emily, Nick Sekas, Ashley Graham and John Graham; and one great-grandson, Hank Sekas.

In addition, she is survived by her stepdaughter Barbara Whatley (David) of Bossier City, Louisiana, and stepson Fred Boykin (Jane), of Decatur, Georgia; step grandchildren Aubrie Patton (Todd), Will Roggero, and Hannah Boykin, and one step great-grandson, Jackson Patton.

The family would like to express their deep and sincere gratitude to Dr. Harvey McCulloch, along with the staff at The Brennity of Daphne’s Memory Care Center and the nurses and aides at Eastern Shore Rehabilitation and Health Center for Lois’ kind and compassionate care during the duration of her illness.

Funeral services will be held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 21, with visitation at 10 a.m. until the 10:30 service time, and burial to follow in Putnam Cemetery, Putnam, Alabama.
