Linden’s Green earns All-Star nod

Kevin Green hauls in a pass in the Class 1A state championship game. The senior finished with more than 200 yards in that contest.

Linden High senior Kevin Green has not yet played his final high school football game. The electrifying Patriot receiver is one of two Class 1A players on the South roster for the 2019 North-South All-Star Football Game.

Green, who tallied more than 1,300 receiving yards his senior season, joins Brantley offensive lineman Parker Driggers as a 1A representative on the roster. Other Southwest Alabama talent on the squad includes Thomasville offensive lineman Kato Morgan. Thomasville also sees its head coach Jack Hankins receive the honor of serving as an assistant coach for the game.
