Liberty Learning returns to Demopolis

Will Collins with the Liberty Learning Foundation spoke to the Demopolis Rotary Club Wednesday to explain the program that introduces good citizenship to classrooms.

Kickoff for Westside Elementary School’s second grade will be Thursday, Feb. 27, from 1-2 p.m.

A non-profit organization, Liberty Learning facilitates active civics and character programs in K-12 classrooms, Collins said. The Foundation orchestrates immersive events that empower schools, parents, local leaders and businesses to take ownership in the future of their communities and their country. 

The Foundation focuses on age=appropriate lessons of Civics and Character, Financial Literacy, American History, Career Readiness and Essential Skills. such as how to change a tire.
