He is survived by his wife, Glenna Overton of Thomasville, AL; two sons, William Lewis Overton of Thomasville, AL; Lynn Chaney Overton, Thomasville, AL; daughter, Terri Murphy Woods of Pine Hill, AL; mother, Marguerite Overton of Thomasville, AL; two brothers, Bob Overton of Fulton, AL; Ray Terry Overton of Lower Peach Tree, AL; four sisters, Sandra Gail Overton Chaney of Thomasville, AL; Cheryl Strohm of Pittsburg, PA; June Marie Overton Newton of Thomasville, AL; Betty Jo King of Thomasville, AL; 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild. Visitation will be held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home Monday, August 19, 2013 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am service time. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Thomasville, AL.
