Lady Longhorns blank Autauga

Marengo Academy (15-5) jumped on Autauga early Saturday en route to a 6-0 win. The Lady Longhorns got a complete game effort out of Andrea Edmonds, who struck out eight over seven innings of work and scattered five hits in the contest.
Chandler Stenz finished 2-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored. Anna Michael Crocker finished 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs. Mary Jordan Drake scored once as a courtesy runner.
Conner Etheridge finished 1-for-4 with a double, one RBI and a run scored. Edmonds was 1-for-3 with a double and one RBI.
Brooke Smyly and Ryan Hale each drew a walk. Macey Petrey finished 1-for-3. Caitlin Andrews was 1-for-3 with a run scored while Payton Stokes was 1-for-1 with a run scored.
