Joe Ulmer

Joe Lester Ulmer, 63, died Monday, June 17 at his home in Demopolis. He was born May 17, 1950, in Demopolis to Edward Warham Ulmer Sr. and Ella Lucille Dunn. He worked as a teacher. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Boggins Ulmer; daughter, Valarie Kae Ulmer of Demopolis; son, Joseph Edward Ulmer of Birmingham; and brother, Edward Warham Ulmer Jr. Services will be held Tuesday, June 25 at 2 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church in Demopolis with the Rev. John David Barnes officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Comfort Care Hospice and the Demopolis Food Bank. Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing.
