Heart of Marengo Chamber hosts Meet & Greet at Stacy’s Cafe’

 

9-11-18 — Demopolis, Ala. — The Heart of Marengo Chamber of Commerce hosted a meet and greet at Stacy’s Cafe in Demopolis on Tuesday, Sept. 11.

The Heart of Marengo Chamber of Commerce hosted a meet and greet at Stacy’s Cafe’ in Demopolis on Tuesday, Sept. 11. The evening included Stacy’s home-cooked cuisine which has been featured in Alabama Living magazine.

During the meet and greet, the Chamber was presented with three monetary donations. The first donation in the amount of $2,500 was presented by Chris Hughes of Georgia-Pacific’s Naheola Mill. A second donation of $3,000 was presented by Kelly Smith who was representing Soggy Bottom Lodge. The final donation of $1,500 was presented by John Crawford of the Marengo County Commission.

Members of the Canebrake Players of Demopolis were on hand, in costume, to discuss future plans for the theatre group. Several business owners and administrators – including Cindy Neilson of the Alabama Rural Heritage Center, Mike Evans and Chad Seale of Shirts & More, Diane Brooker of Alabama Power and Jennifer Cassity of the Faunsdale Bar & Grill – were on hand to discuss the impact that the Heart of Marengo Chamber of Commerce has had on their businesses.
