Hale couple builds helipad for county use

Hale County residents William and Mary Thomas with the Air Evac Lifeteam. The couple recently completed construction of a FAA-aproved helipad on their 100-acre property. Theirs is the only helipad in Hale County and the couple has granted permission for Air Evac to use it to airlift Hale County residents in need of the service.
