Grand slam adds to DHS 6-0 win over Thomasville
Senior Sydney Smith hit a grand slam home run Monday to lead the Demopolis High School softball team to a 6-0 win over Thomasville.
Freshman Ashton Moorer continued her strong pitching with 19 strikeouts, giving up only one hit in seven innings. She also hit a single at the plate.
Also hitting for the Lady Tigers were:
- Freshman Madison Ford, three singles at four at bats.
- Junior Abby Grace Cameron, one single.
- Freshman Weezie Hughes, one single.
- 7th grader Kiley Stokes, one single.
