Free car is prize for Rotary Golf Tournament
First golfer to make a hole-in-one during the 49th annual Demopolis Rotary Club Charity Golf Tournament will receive a free car.
The event will be Friday, Sept. 30, at the Demopolis County Club. Tee time for the two-man scramble is 9 a.m.
The $125 entry fee includes lunch, free refreshments on the course and a Social and Steak Dinner and free practice round the evening before the tournament.
Windham Motor Co. and Marengo Insurance Agency are sponsoring the Chevrolet Equinox that is the prize for a hole-in-one on either the No. 6 or No. 14 hole.
The Rotary Club also is looking for donors to sponsor a team. The $500 contribution covers the cost of a two-man team ($250 value), a hole sponsorship and mention on the radio and on social media. A hole sponsorship also is available for $100.
