Feathers • Fins • Fur 2013 will be hosted by the Demopolis Office of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Foscue Park in Demopolis on the weekend of July 27-28 (Saturday and Sunday). Adults or high school students willing to volunteer are urged contact the USACE office at 334-289-3540.

It will be hot, but the fun will outweigh the heat. Registration includes: 5 meals, T-shirt, wrist band, prizes, camping and all of the activities listed below. Camping is included with the registration– BUT ONLY if we are notified in advance that you would like to camp for the weekend. Lots of prizes will be given out!

Raptor Trek Demo – Eagles, Owls, Hawks, you name it!

Shock Boat – the State will be bringing their boat that shocks up fish for research up and down the river

Reptile Display – Live Alligators, snakes, turtles, for you to touch if you will

Same ol’ dogs – High Flyin’ Rooster will be back for his daring leap across the Slough

Airboat – Nuff’ Said

Skeet Shooting – You will learn one on one to shoot that clay pigeon!!

Calling Contest – Guys/Gals….we’ve got a stage set up this year and you won’t believe the prizes

Waterslide – Bring your bathing suit or an extra set of clothes

The Rockwall – If you dare…to make it to the top!

Kayaking – Fun in the sun!
