Eutaw man killed in Sunday morning crash

TUSCALOOSA POST – A single-vehicle crash at 4:45 a.m. today, March 4, claimed the life of a Eutaw man. Anthony Terrell Blount, 27, was killed when the 2008 Ford Focus he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. Blount, who was not using a seat belt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred on U.S. 11 near the 47 mile marker, in the city limits of Eutaw. Although the circumstances surrounding the crash are still under investigation, speed is believed to be a factor. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
