BOLIGEE — Dallas Antonio Long and Kevin Lee Hardie are back in custody after escaping from the Decatur Work Release Facility Tuesday.

The inmates are currently being held in the Greene County Jail following an arrest that took place at a service station in Boligee late Tuesday between 9 and 10 p.m.

“The state called for backup on it. Four of our deputies went along with the drug task force,” Lt. Jeremy Rancher of the Greene County Sheriff’s Department said. “They were actually asleep in the car. We instructed them to get out of the car one at a time and we handcuffed them.”
