Olivia Diane Downey age 64 of Thomasville, AL, died July 29, 2014 in Tallahassee, FL. She was born July 26, 1950 in Jackson, AL. She was a retired elementary school teacher from Thomasville City Schools and a member of Thomasville United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Scotty Downey of Thomasville, AL; son, Vince (Chrystal) Downey of Thomasville, AL; daughter, Lisa (Sean) Bauman of Jacksonville, FL; mother, Connie Henson of Orange Beach, AL; brother, Wade Henson of Foley, AL; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Thomasville Civic Center on Sunday, August 3, 2014 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm service time with Rev. Nancy Watson and Rev. Ty Parten officiating. Burial will be at Choctaw Corner Cemetery in Thomasville, AL. Arrangements by O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville, AL.
