DHS cross country hosting Trail of Terror 5k and fun run

The Demopolis High School cross country team is hosting the Tombigbee Trail of Terror 5k and one mile fun run on Oct. 29 at Lower Pool Park in Demopolis.

The event will benefit the cross country team and will include a costume contest, as well as snacks and prizes for those in attendance. Race packets are guaranteed for the first 50 runners registered, and headlamps will be provided for the first 25 registered.

Registration is available the night of the event for a $15 donation. Those in costume will receive a $5 discount.

The one mile fun run begins at 5 p.m., with the 5k starting at 5:30.
