DHS baseball youth camp set for Feb. 1

The Demopolis High School baseball team will hold its annual youth camp Saturday, Feb. 1.

The camp is open for children ages 5-12 and the fee for each participant with $25. The fee includes two hours of instruction and a pizza party with the DHS baseball team. Participants who registered prior to Jan. 17 will receive a camp T-shirt.

Due to high participation rates in previous years of the camp, this year’s event will be divided into two sessions.

Children ages 5 through 8 will hone their skills from 10 a.m. to noon. Check-in for the first sessions begins at 9:30 a.m. Lunch will be served from noon until 12:30 p.m.

The second session will be designed for campers aged 9-12 with check-in beginning at 12:30 p.m. Lunch will begin at 12:30 p.m. Camp will take place from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
