Demopolis Middle School Beta qualifies for national competition

The Demopolis Middle School Beta Club is headed to the 2016 National Junior Convention in New Orleans after a strong showing at state competition this week. The DMS team placed in three categories at state competition to earn their ticket to New Orleans.

Savannah Williams took first place in Division II Language Arts while the Graham Parker, Joseph Barnes and Owen Pruett took first place in Technology. The team also finished second in Group Talent.

The National Junior Convention is set for June 23-26 at the New Orleans Ernest M. Morial Convention Center.
