Demopolis launches Renew Our City

Renew Our City started Wednesday. Demopolis Beautification and all the sponsors of the event ask that all citizens look at their place of business, home, school and church and do a little “Spring” cleaning. Show pride in your community by cutting the grass, edging sidewalks, picking up trash, cleaning street gutters and ditches. Also, if you have large items that you need to dispose of, call the City Barn at 289-3879 and schedule a pick up free of charge. Make it a neighborhood event and invite your neighbors to clean together.

Also, volunteers can meet at City Park on Saturday to pick up trash or help the Preservation Commission save a treated home at 404 E. Washington.
