Demopolis DECA students earn recognition at International DECA Conference
The following Demopolis DECA students received the “Award of Excellence” certificate at the 2018 DECA International Career Development Conference, in recognition of achieving all performance standards:

DECA prepares emerging leaders for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management. It enhances student preparation for college and careers by providing co-curricular programs that integrate classroom instruction and connect student learning to career best-practices.
The Emerging Leader award recognizes students studying marketing, finance, hospitality and management or being an academically prepared, community oriented, professional responsible, experienced leader through participation in DECA. The award recipient must be a DECA member in his/her senior year of high school with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or better for each of the high school semesters.
