Demopolis City Schools closing at noon Tuesday

After dialogue with EMA Director Kevin McKinney and the Marengo County and Linden City Superintendents of Education regarding the threat of winter weather, all Demopolis City Schools facilities will close and students and faculty will be released at noon Tuesday, Jan. 28.

A decision regarding Wednesday, Jan. 29 will be made prior to 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29.

“The falling weather should be past and we will evaluate road conditions accordingly,” Demopolis City Schools Superintendent Dr. Al Griffin said.
